1. Terms of Use

2. Privacy Policy (GDPR)

2.1 Photos

All photo processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload or store your photos on our servers.

2.2 Data stored locally on your device

We store some settings locally on your device (for example ad personalization preference, non-Pro export counter, and local app state). This local storage stays on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app or clear app data.

2.3 Lifetime Pro (one-time purchase)

2.4 Data we collect

2.5 Purposes

2.6 Legal bases

2.7 Personalized vs non-personalized ads

We use Google AdMob to show ads in the app. Personalized ads may use your Advertising ID, device information, IP address (approximate location), and ad/app interactions. If personalized ads are enabled and Google has account or usage data, Google may use that activity (such as apps you use, searches, and location signals) to tailor ads. You can disable personalized ads at any time in the in-app Personalized ads toggle, with Manage consent, or in device ad settings. You will then receive non-personalized ads.

2.8 Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland)

For users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland we use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to collect and manage consent for personalized ads. You can change or withdraw consent at any time with Manage consent and in your device ad settings. If you decline consent, the app still works and ads are requested in non-personalized mode where available.

2.9 Sharing and processors

We share data with processors only as needed to operate app features. Primary processors: Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC) for advertising, and Apple App Store / Google Play for payment processing and purchase restoration. We do not sell personal data.

2.10 International transfers

Processors may handle personal data outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, including in the United States. Transfers rely on lawful safeguards such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (including UK Extension and Swiss-U.S. DPF where applicable), Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or equivalent mechanisms. You can contact us for more information about safeguards.

2.11 Automated decision-making and profiling

Google may use profiling for ad personalization when you allow personalized ads. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects or similarly significant effects about you.

2.12 Retention

We do not store your photos on our servers. Local app settings remain on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app data. Ad-related and purchase-related retention is handled by Google AdMob and store providers according to their own policies. Support communications are retained for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve disputes.

2.13 Is data required?

2.14 Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent where applicable. Contact us at uglycam@chrometis.com. For data controlled directly by third parties (for example Google, Apple, or Google Play), you may also need to contact those providers directly.

2.15 Right to complain

You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. In Estonia, this is the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (AKI).

2.16 Deletion requests

To request deletion of data associated with the app, contact us at uglycam@chrometis.com. Because we do not maintain app user accounts or photo storage servers, deletion requests usually relate to processor-held data and local device data. Uninstalling the app removes local app data from your device. We will coordinate with relevant processors (for example Google) where applicable.

2.17 Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including access controls and secure transport for service communications.

2.18 Changes

We may update this policy and will adjust the effective date.
